3 inch reel (50 feet of film)

This reel is three inches in diameter and contains 50 feet of 8mm, super8, or 16mm film.

***Some customers have reels that display 25' on the outside of the box. If you look again at your film's boxes, you will see that it says you have "Double" 8mm films. What this means is: Your film is of a certain type that was actually twice as wide and had exposure on both sides of its cartridge. During development, the 25 foot double 8mm films are split down the middle and spliced end to end. The result being a 50 foot 8mm film reel.***
